Hydro Vac is the largest Industrial Cleaning service in the south west, established in 1984. Hydro Vac covers an area from Port Hedland to Augusta, Bunbury to Bremer Bay, servicing all major shires, mine sites, timber mills and local contractors in Western Australia.

Experience
Hydro Vac has been operating since 1984 and in that time has grown from holding one small sweeper to 7 large sweepers, 2 small sweepers, 3 three tonne tippers, 1 high-pressure Jet Roding machine, 1 combination high Vacuum Jett Rodding machine and 2 Industrial Vacuum trucks.


Hydro Vac's major contracts include Pioneer Road Services, Boral Asphalt, Malatesta Road Paving and Hot Mix, Wespine Industries and Wesfi Pty Ltd just to name a few. Currently we service a client base that holds a total of 250.

Personnel Structure
Hydro Vac have a staff of fifteen, with four working directors, one operations manager, seven full time operators and three full time mechanics. All are experienced local employees.

Plant and Equipment
Hydro Vac has a specialised range of equipment starting from the current models Tennant 6550D and 6400 floor sweepers. Current models Macdonald Johnston 600 series vacuum sweepers/ Jett Rodding machine 10'000 litre 2200psi 250 litres per minute and/ 2001 Combination High Vacuum Jett Rodding machine that operates up to 4500psi, at 350 litres per minute 5900cfm 16hg, capable of flushing pipes up to 2000mm in diameter, with root cutting attachments for pipes up to 600mm in diameter. Also two Industrial Vacuum units/ 2000cfm Vacuum loader for use on mine sites and drain cleaning/ 9000cfm 27hg high vacuum truck 10'000 litres debris hopper used on mine sites.

History

Hydro Vac has been in operation since 1984 and in that time has grown from humble beginnings with initially only a single sweeping unit. Our fleet has grown to one which consists of large road sweepers, car park sweepers, purpose built vacuum and jetting units to high pressure cleaning. This diversity is what lead to a name change, in October 2001, from West Sweep to Hydro Vac, to truly reflect the various services we can provide you the client.

Hazardous Substances and Confined Space

We have trained personnel in the handling of hazardous substances and confined space entry. Using the appropriate protective equipment from self-contained breathing apparatus, chemical resistant protective clothing coupled with safe systems of work, we can safely perform work where otherwise it would not be possible.

D.E.P Accredited
Accreditation with the Department of Environmental Protection to transport all waste products from waste oils/ grease trap waste/ sewage waste and other hazardous waste.
